Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

This notice describes how We Coode, rete d'impresa collects, uses and protects the personal data of users visiting https://wecoode.it, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.

1. Data controller

The data controller is We Coode, rete d'impresa (Rete d'impresa costituita ai sensi della Legge n. 33/2009 e successive modifiche, tax code 91604650159, register no. MI-2751057), reachable at hello@wecoode.it. No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed, as the legal requirements do not apply: for any request concerning the processing of your personal data you can write directly to the address above.

2. Data we collect

The website collects the following categories of data:

Browsing data

The IT systems and software procedures that operate this website automatically acquire certain technical data transmitted by browsers, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, language, referrer and pages visited. This data is used to ensure the correct operation and security of the website and is not used to identify individual users.

Data provided through the contact form

Through the contact form users provide their first name, last name, email address, an optional phone number and company name, the services they are interested in and the text of their message. This data is processed solely to reply to the request received: it is sent by email to our inbox and summarised in a confirmation email to the user. Acknowledgement of this notice is required before submitting.

Data provided through the solution finder

The guided "Find your solution" path collects non-identifying answers about your company and your needs. Only if you choose to be contacted at the end are you asked for your first name, last name, email address, an optional phone number and company name, and a message pre-filled with the outcome of the path, processed in the same way as the contact form.

Booking data

Through the Cal.com widget embedded in the website, users can book a call. The data entered (name, email, time zone, any notes) is processed by Cal.com, Inc. as the scheduling service provider, under its own privacy policy. We Coode receives the booking notification and the data needed to manage the appointment.

Measurement and statistical data

If you consent to the "Measurement" category through the cookie banner, the website activates Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, which collect aggregated data on website usage: page views, interaction events (opening and submitting forms, progress through the solution finder, clicks on buttons, email, phone and social links, scroll depth), session duration, traffic source, device type and approximate geographic area. In Google Analytics 4 the IP address is not stored: it is used only at collection time to derive an approximate location and then discarded. None of this data is used to identify individual users.

Consent preferences

The choices you make in the cookie banner (accepting or refusing each category) are stored in your browser's local storage, so the banner is not shown on every visit. The same choice is recorded on a server of ours located in the European Union, together with the date and time, the detected jurisdiction, the browser type, the IP address in masked form and approximate location data (country, region and city) derived locally from the IP address when the record is created. The full IP address is not retained. This record is kept to demonstrate the consent given as required by Article 7(1) GDPR, is not shared with third parties and is not used for tracking purposes.

3. Purposes of processing

  • Managing and replying to requests sent through the contact form or the solution finder
  • Managing consultation bookings through Cal.com
  • Aggregated statistical analysis of website usage, to measure performance and improve content and structure (only with your consent)
  • Recording and managing preferences relating to cookies and tracking tools
  • Website security, diagnostics and abuse prevention (technical browsing data and system logs)
  • Compliance with legal obligations and defence of a right in legal proceedings

4. Legal basis

  • Consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) — for submitting the contact forms and for measurement tools and their cookies, pursuant to Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal
  • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — for consultation bookings and activities preparatory to a possible professional relationship
  • Legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — for website security, technical browsing data and the technical cookies necessary for operation
  • Compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — for retaining proof of consent and for accounting, tax and statutory obligations

5. Data recipients

Personal data is neither disclosed publicly nor sold to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be shared with the following categories of recipients, appointed as data processors where required by Art. 28 GDPR:

  • Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC — for Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4, activated only with consent to the Measurement category. Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy
  • Cal.com, Inc. — for managing consultation bookings through the booking widget. Privacy policy: cal.com/privacy
  • Email service provider (SMTP) — for delivering notifications and confirmations relating to contact requests
  • Hosting and infrastructure provider — for serving the website and storing technical logs
  • Competent authorities, advisors and professionals — within the limits of legal obligations or to protect a right

6. Data retention

Data collected through the contact forms is kept for as long as strictly necessary to handle the request and any resulting business relationship and, if there is no follow-up, for no more than 24 months from the date of receipt. Technical browsing logs are kept for a maximum of 30 days, unless authorities require them to investigate offences. Google Analytics 4 statistical data is retained at user and event level for a maximum of 14 months, while aggregated report data remains available with no time limit in non-identifying form. Consent preferences stay in the user's browser until withdrawn or until browsing data is cleared; the corresponding server-side record, which constitutes the proof of consent, is retained for 24 months. Booking data is kept for as long as needed to manage the appointment and subsequent obligations.

7. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers used by the website are based in or operate infrastructure in the United States: Google LLC (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4) and Cal.com, Inc. (bookings). Transfers take place on the basis of appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular the adequacy decision concerning the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and/or the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, supplemented by additional measures. All other processing takes place within the European Union. You can request a copy of the safeguards in place by writing to hello@wecoode.it.

8. Your rights

Pursuant to Articles 15-22 GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data and obtain a copy of it
  • Request its rectification or update
  • Request its erasure
  • Obtain restriction of processing
  • Receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (portability)
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interest
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, including for individual cookie categories, through the "Manage cookies" link in the website footer
  • Lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or bring legal action

To exercise your rights write to hello@wecoode.it. We will reply without undue delay and in any case within one month of receiving your request.

9. Nature of the provision of data and absence of automated decision-making

Providing the data requested by the contact forms is optional, but without it we cannot follow up on your request. Providing measurement data is always optional and subject to your consent: refusing it does not affect browsing or access to content in any way. The website does not carry out profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects users.

10. Cookies and tracking tools

The website uses technical cookies and, subject to consent, measurement tools. For the full list, purposes, durations and how to manage consent, see the Cookie Policy.
